1000 mg Magtein™ magnesium L-threonate
Quicksilver Scientific uses Magtein™, a patented form of magnesium L-threonate. This magnesium compound was developed by MIT. Magnesium L-threonate has been researched for its ability to reach the brain in animal models. Each 15 mL dose provides 1000 mg of magnesium L-threonate.
450 mg phosphaditylcholine
Quicksilver Scientific Liposomal Magtein™ contains 450 mg phosphatidylcholine per dose. Phosphatidylcholine is a phospholipid that can be found in cell membranes and is often used to create liposomes.
Liposomal magnesium L-threonate for improved uptake
A liposome is a fat layer that can envelop compounds, such as supplement ingredients. Liposomes protect their contents from digestion and are absorbed whole. This means the contents go directly into the bloodstream. Liposomal supplements are therefore better absorbed than standard supplements.
Absorption is an important consideration for supplemental magnesium compounds, which are known to have relatively low absorption rates. The liposomal packaging allows for alternate routes of magnesium L-threonate uptake, thereby increasing its bioavailability.

Recommended use
