Pure, natural bentonite clay
Bentonite is volcanic ash that absorbs and retains water well. It consists mainly of montmorillonite linked to sodium or calcium. In addition, bentonite also contains many other trace minerals.

Redmond extracts bentonite at their mine in Utah, where they control the production process from start to finish. The bentonite is ground into ready-to-use powder and packaged. Bentonite Clay is therefore pure bentonite with no additives.

You can use bentonite in various ways. For example, it is an excellent base for a facial mask. Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts water to make a clay mask.
Favourable calcium to sodium ratio
Redmond Bentonite Clay has a 2 to 1 ratio of calcium to sodium. This composition makes bentonite especially suitable for facial masks. Besides calcium and sodium, Bentonite Clay contains other natural trace minerals.
Ingredients & Usage
Use for any recipes requiring bentonite clay.
For a facial mask, mix 1 part bentonite clay powder to 2 parts water. Add water until you get the desired texture. Apply directly to the skin. Let sit until dry and then wash off with water.
