Mycotoxin-free coffee

Bulletproof coffee began with American biohacker Dave Asprey's search for functional coffee without a crash. He identified mould toxins (mycotoxins) as a cause of the crash. Such mould toxins can arise from careless processing or storage of coffee beans.

Mould occurs mainly when coffee berries are pitted and dried or when green coffee beans are stored. Bulletproof works with coffee farmers to give the moulds no chance. The coffee is also tested for and free of toxins. With that, you won't experience a crash due to mycotoxins after your cup of coffee.

Specialty-grade Arabica coffee from good sources

Bulletproof uses specialty-grade Arabica coffee from smallholder coffee farmers with Rainforest Alliance certifications. In specialty coffee, you can taste the unique flavours of the environment in which the coffee grows. The coffee farmers work meticulously on every step of the production process to bring out the best flavour of their coffee. In return, they receive a fair price, which allows them to support their workers and environment well.
