Soothing coffee from Four Sigmatic

Four Sigmatic Ground Adaptogen Coffee combines medium roast ground coffee with 4 extracts of traditional herbs and mushrooms. These adaptogenic herbal extracts help with stress. The bitter taste of the herbs and chaga goes well with the medium-roasted Arabica coffee.

Organic Arabica coffee
The ground Arabica coffee comes from Colombia, where it is organically grown at high altitude. The beans are medium roasted for a coffee with a soft buttery taste with a hint of caramel. Each batch has been independently tested for mycotoxins and other contaminants.

Organic Ashwagandha extract
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an Ayurvedic herb that helps to reduce the effects of stress. Ashwagandha also supports your energy, emotional stability and physical resistance to stress.

Organic Eleuthero extract
Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is also known as Siberian ginseng. Eleuthero has been used as an adaptogen in Asia for more than 2000 years. In addition, Eleuthero supports defences, as well as physical and mental energy.

Organic Chaga extract
Chaga is a fungus that mainly occurs in Northern Europe and Asia, where it has been traditionally used for centuries. Four Sigmatic makes chaga extract with wild-grown chaga cultivated on tree stumps. The double extract of hot water and alcohol is spray dried, so that only the substances contained in chaga remain in the powder extract.

Organic Tulsi extract
Tulsi or holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) has been used as an Ayurvedic herb for 3000 years. Tulsi has antioxidant properties and supports the immune system. As an adaptogen, tulsi also helps with resistance to stress.

Ingredients & Usage

Hot coffee: Add 4 tablespoons of coffee (21 grams) to 350 ml of boiling water. Prepare the coffee with a filter, French Press or pour-over.
Cold brew coffee: Add 4 tablespoons of coffee (21 grams) to 350 ml of cold water. Allow the coffee to stand in the fridge for two days before filtering.

Add your favourite (nut) milk and sweetener. Blend with coconut oil or ghee for a creamy drink.
