S-Adenosyl-Methionine (SAMe) is an ATP molecule with the amino acid methionine bound to it. SAMe is found in blood and acts as a methyl donor.
SAMe levels become lower with age or disease. It may then be beneficial to take SAMe to maintain your blood SAMe levels.
