You can support your immune system by taking a high dose of zinc if you feel sickness coming on. You should not take such high doses for more than a few days, otherwise you may be at risk of copper deficiency.

Ingredients & Usage
Dissolve one lozenge in your mouth every 2 hours while awake. Do not take more than 8 lozenges per day.
Do not use for more than three consecutive days.
Do not chew or swallow the lozenge.
Can cause nausea when taken on an empty stomach.
Zinc supplements may reduce the absorption and availability of copper. If you take more than 50 mg of zinc daily as a supplement for a longer period of time, take 2 mg of copper per day to avoid copper deficiency. Prolonged intake of more than 100 mg of zinc per day may reduce some of the functions of T cells and NK cells, thereby suppressing your defences.
