Bone broth is an excellent source of collagen and other bone nutrients. The beef bone broth is made from 100% grass-fed European cows. The beef bones are gently simmered, and the broth is dehydrated to preserve the nutrients. The bone broth powder is Halal certified.

Gently processed plant proteins

The organic pea and rice protein were obtained through gentle processing of the source ingredients. To purify the protein, no chemicals or additives were used. Spray drying with steam was used to obtain the final purified protein powder.

Our decision to create a whole food protein bar excluded using stevia and sugar alcohols (xylitol, erythritol) as sweeteners. Both of these are commonly used in low-carbohydrate bars. Although sugar alcohols are often presented as ‘natural’, they can cause [intestinal] problems in some people. Also, stevia is known as a ‘natural’ sweetener, but some may experience a bitter aftertaste.

NoordCode chose single origin acacia honey and unrefined date syrup as natural sweeteners. This provides balanced sweetness, improved texture and a higher density of nutrients. The natural unrefined sugars also provide energy, especially beneficial when you take the bar as an afternoon pick-me-up or post-workout snack.
